My dear Fello Senan,
Just a long learning for Delhi
last week, the postman handed me your
most bund and welcome letter, enclosing

sent to write to you from Leinster House,
when I spent the first part of the reminder of
the week, but between one thing and another I was kept to walk "on the gold that

returned home on Saturday night.
I am so glad Fello Serdl has accepted
the articles for the Record. I think Lady
Jargiana's life has a special lesson for
many of our own women whose influence
will be involved if they could only
reach this responsibilities.

Dear Father Fenan,
I was going to ask you about this over the
phone but on second thoughts I decided it would be
as well not to.
Provided I can get a house & the wherewithal
to help me put something into it I'm going to get
married in September. There are no objections.
Do you think would it be possible for me to negotiate
a loan from the 1st. of April? — an inaugurative day.
What I mean is if I borrowed the cash now the
interest would be payable counting the year as
beginning next month. I don't mind much what interest
I pay: I I'll try to clear it off as soon as I possibly
can.
There are a few things I want to buy at the
moment. I have some money saved but if I can I
want to hold it interest as an 'emergency' fund in
cases of illnesses etc.
If this is practicable could you let me know
I'll make what arrangements have to be made.
The fact that there are no more objections does
thank God, mean that the business won't weigh on
me so heavily; and I should be able to clear
it off pretty soon.
