My Dear Father Provincesis,
I want to acknowledge receipt of the following letter,
1. April 19th, a. letter acknowledging receipt of cable & documents relative to the problem in San Francisco; b. letter from General re, the Visitation of the Custody; c. letter re, the Chaplin to be held in Aug.
2. May 14th Announcement of Jutiles of Father John & Benedict.
3. I am not sure that I acknowledged receipt of your letter of Mr. 17th and of the bill for Father Northert's Engineers, receipt from Mr. Stanislaw. I got the check for the letter Mr. May 14th. But suring to constitute over there I did not sent it. The Post office the morning too me there is no conclusion that the letter or the check enclosed will each yr.
In reply I want to make the following alarmations:
1. Father Thomas is perhaps held up his own. He will never be very strong again. He is old in hospitals here, and receives every care, he was over for March questions.
2. Father Jackins is back in hospital. He is again active, and it will be several months before he can get into this house & banking and paying his bill, which is about $100.00 per month. So you can see that with our assessments, we have no loans full.
3. I will your quaries commenting and the Mag most Rev. Mr. General's on the report of the Visitation.
4. With regard to the Chaplin:
a. I think it would be forbidden for me to attempt to place home.

It would cost a lot of money, and like this preceding letter I might get lost on the way. Therefore I am enclosing a statement reminding my active Docel.
b. Requesting the names of Voting here, if you recall, the Definition held in Dublin in June of 1938, appeals to my request that all official consequences should go through the Custody; and in particular that the Voting should be sent from the house to the Custody. Accordingly knowing discussed the matter with the Cansultins, I sent a letter to each of the houses. I enclose a copy of this letter. If I am in spot in the matter, please let me know. But my memory tells me I am correct. I will send the letters when they arrive. I hope they reach I reland safely.
c. The Chief met in the Complex with the Father General's request for a School. It would cost a great deal to mild. But a large house with grounds might be found here friendly cheap. And it could be another understand the Stokerin Custody has such a peace. I am engaging through the Chancery office. And if any thing suitable can be found I will submit it to Open and your Definition for examination. I assure you that I will not suggest any thing that would entail great financial ableightion especially with constitutions so uncleared.
d. I am asking each of the supervisors for a statement regarding the Dublin question. I think you will be pleased with the report.
