He had great heart and weathered many bouts of illness that might easily have proved too much for a younger man. Father Aloysius was old froil in years, but age told on his frail body and when we heard him say more often recently that he wondered why the Lord did not take him (he said it with his problem. It was that his body could not keep pace with his mind which was intensely active, clear and intended.
