On our return here I hope we shall have some letters emailing us from you. I don't know how we shall both put in the line after our report on Bend. we have entered into a good arrangement about Hermiston. As I lots you the Church Entension he donated 15,000 dollars & the Bishop adds 5,000 to begin with. We have induced the Bishops to begin the contracts for the combination House & Church in his own name when he are ready & he will then hand the progressive ones to the order when the missions are accepted. The estimates have not yet been received but the Architect thinks the building will only cost 2,500 dollars. There will thus be a fairly compatible House of Residence for where begin the work there. In lake for in opportunity at Hermiston & Smattella one Sunday 12 dollars & another Sunday 4. Of course things might improve when a priest settles there. By the way I never thought when writing you to tell you that I said Nine (9) masses for you intention before we received any out here. Since the Bishops have kept us going. I forgot to ask Dr. Luke his member before he leggt. Hope you will all well & that Drs. Laurence & Herond are much improved by their trip. Shall write you report of Bend as soon as possible. Every best remembrance & heartiest good weish always of Dear Dr. Communication & bed anti of Dr. Mr. S.",
